The Night seemed so young - surely it could not kill? That's what they said. What they told men, women and children that settled here.
They Lied.
The Night came on Tainted Wings and took them away into the shadow lands, leaving the chaos-tainted remains of the settlement to the Scavanging Birds.
The crows, magpies and ravens live here now, flying from twisted tree to twisted tree on Tainted Wings.
Wondering when the Night will fall once more to wipe them out too, the brethren took on the names of the Tainted Wings . TimeScar lead them to create flocks and name themselves; to strenghten against the Night.
He is old now, residing in the Fig Stones where creatures in need of help or wisdom go.
